Jonesboro Limestone

Jonesboro Limestone is a light gray weathered, bedded  limestone defined by clay partings, fossil horizons, sand grains, and chert stringers.  Locally it is a massive and brecciated dolomite.  The limestone contains both micro- and macro-fossils.
